ANIMAL FLOWER CAVE
The Animal Flower Cave is located at the most northerly point of Barbados. It is the oldest tourist attraction in Barbados and the islands only accessible sea cave. There are several openings in the cave, some of which are deep enough you can swim, offering breathtaking views. Inside the cave, still found in the pools are sea anemones, which are locally called animal flowers.
WILDLIFE RESERVE
The reserve is home to a large troop of Green Monkeys and a wide variety of birds, mammals, and reptiles. Majority of the animals roam freely without separation from visitors. The best time to visit is from 2-3pm, as dozens of monkeys, peacocks, deer, and tortoises meet at the feeding area. Employees distribute fresh fruits and grains. Visitors are thrilled to watch as you will certainly spot monkeys eating while standing on the back of giant tortoises.
MOUNT GAY VISITORS CENTER
Experience the site that has distilled rum for over 300 years and become educated on how Barbados became the birthplace of rum. Tours of the historic Mount Gay distillery will take you through their fully operational rum making production and museum, and end with a delicious tasting experience.
HORSEBACK RIDING
Discover the incredible views of the South-East coast from a horseback. Ocean Echo Stables is the ultimate spot to connect to nature and experience the island life. They offer a variety of trail rides where riders are likely to spot green monkeys while trekking through lush vegetation.
HARRISONS CAVE
Located at the centre of Barbados, Harrisons Cave is one of Barbados most popular tourist attractions. Visitors are driven in electrically operated trams while a tour guide gives historical information about the cave.
